I have forged connections with a number of resources in the South Florida and Virginia community. Below you’ll find information about people I’ve personally met and taken the time to know and connect with. If you find yourself in need, I would highly recommend the following:
MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCACY GROUP and MERCH: A Human Condition
A Human Condition is a nonprofit revolution that provides resources and support for those who have experienced the loss of a love one due to mental illness. Founded in 2018, A Human Condition also advocates support by selling conversation starting punk-inspired t-shirts and other products. From their website: “We are a non-profit organization try to make a difference with mental health awareness. We are trying to let people know you are not alone, we all have a story to tell although they may be different, one thing remains the same WE ALL ARE JUST SKIN AND BONES.” To learn more about the founders and about the nonprofit, www.ahumancondition.net.
DIVORCE ATTORNEY: Christopher R. Bruce, Esq.
Christopher R. Bruce, Esq. is a native of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He married another lawyer (after swearing he never would), and now he and his wife are the proud parents of two young children. Outside of the office, and spending time with his family, his passion is saltwater fishing and marine conservation.
He is a Marital & Family Law Specialist (Florida Bar Board Certified). His law practice for nearly his entire legal career has been focused on representing clients through complicated divorce, alimony, and child custody matters. Typically when he is involved there is the need to confront a difficult or intimidating person, an important long-term support claim, a business valuation or asset tracing issue, or a serious issue involving children.
His goal is to obtain a favorable result for his clients as quickly and efficiently as possible so they can move on to the life they desire and deserve to be living.
He is a divorce litigator. He believes that in many instances the shortest and optimal path to favorably resolving complex family disputes with difficult people requires strategic litigation. He represents his clients through all stages of this process, including at trial, and in Florida’s appellate courts.
That said, he tries to avoid inflaming sensitive family situations. When in a client’s best interest he works to resolve matters through early negotiations and alternative dispute resolution options.
While he represents men and women, he focuses his practice on helping female clients through divorces from controlling, manipulative, and narcissistic type husbands. These cases are exceptionally challenging on multiple levels. He strives to take on these representations because he knows his female clients will have a dramatically improved and transformed-for-the-better life once their divorce is over. Knowing that he is the lead on facilitating this type of life transformation for his clients is professionally rewarding, and is what motivates him each day to continue immersing himself in his law practice.
Chris is also the author of multiple books on divorce law and process, including several books focused on helping women prepare for and successfully navigate a difficult divorce. You can view and download all of his books for free at www.DivorceInformationBooks.com, and the books are also on Amazon.com.
You can gain an in-depth understanding of his approach to creating effective divorce law strategies in his divorce law practice (as well as an in-depth divorce strategy education) by reading the books, or clicking here to register for his complimentary 14 lesson video course on developing and implementing effective divorce strategies.
